Lets Keep In Touch
With so many ways to stay in touch these days, it’s almost hard to keep track. I’ve “met” so many interesting people in the short time I’ve had this blog but it occurred to me that there’s only so much information we can share here on our blogs and I might not be utilizing my “social networks” to their full potential. So, lets connect!
First, you can follow my blog (far right sidebar). I regularly check my blog followers and have discovered some great blogs that way. Not only do I get to check out your blog, but I get to check out all the blogs you’re following. It’s like a book bloggers goldmine!
Here are a few places to find me:
Fiction Vixen is on Facebook. This is a great way to connect with publishers, authors and fellow book bloggers. Also a great way to goof off and waste countless hours of life with millions of available facebook apps. Find me on Facebook and let’s “Facebook” each other.
Twitter is a small addition addiction for me. I’m pretty sure I’d be a far more productive citizen if I didn’t tweet, but life just wouldn’t be as fun without my daily tweet. It’s fun and a great way stay updated on all the latest news in the book blogging community. I’m here on Twitter.
Oh GoodReads, how I love you. There is absolutely no way I could keep track of what I’ve read, what I want to read without GoodReads. My tbr shelf runneth over. Book reviews, commentary, reading groups, giveaways, fun quizzes, author pages, recommendations--GoodReads has it all and it just keeps getting better. There are other similar sites out there like Library Thing and Shelfari, but GoodReads is my favorite. Let’s compare books! If you haven’t checked it out yet, I highly recommend you do. I’m here on GoodReads.
My Ning Networks
I admit I haven’t fully explored the possibilities on the Ning network. So far I’ve joined two networks but haven’t been all that active. From what I’ve seen so far there are many ways to connect and share information. I’ll be making an effort in the future to check out all the features these networks have to offer.
So let’s connect via my favorites social networks! What’s your favorite way to connect and why?
EDITED TO ADD: Be sure to send me your friend recommendations and fan page recommendations on Facebook and leave your best tweet friends in the comments here!

I'm stalking you on every social network there is.
I adore Goodreads. I don't know how I kept track of my books before they came along!
I've met some amazing bloggers through twitter. Facebook is the best time killer that was ever created. :) I just joined book blogs, but haven't done anything with it yet.
Hi Fiction Vixen,
I love your blog and I'm a new follower now. When I clicked the link to Goodreads it didn't work. Just wanted to let you know. I love Goodreads as well, am fairly new at all this but really enjoying myself among all these booklovers :)
That's funny - I was going to do a post on this (still might) because I feel like I'm missing a lot. I just joined book blogs but don't know anyting about goodreads. It never occurred to me that I could also interact via facebook (must go brush cobwebs off my facebook site).
@smokinhotbooks--you stalk me and I love it. I stalk you back :)
@A Buckeye Girl Reads--I agree, I don't know how I ever got by without GoodReads.
@ErotRomReader--I've fixed my GoodRead link and it works now. Thanks for the heads up. I hope we can connect there!
@patti--I highly recommend GoodReads. I can't get by without it. I hope you've found some good ways to stay in touch!
I seem to be most often on twitter, followed by goodreads. I am also on the bookblogs.ning but hardly go there. :) And I've added you on goodreads, yay! :D
Yay! Well I am mostly on Twitter, but also GoodReads, MySpace, and my blog of course, oooo and also on bookblogs.... so many ways to stalk a bookaddict!
like @smokinhotbooks I totally feel like a creepy stalker being your friend on all these networks LOL But they are all such a good way to find new and interesting people!
@--Janicu Yay for GoodReads. I'll have to sit down this evening and compare books with all my new GR friends. :)
@Marissa--I think we're connected pretty much on all the major networks. All I'm missing now is your blog button. Must remedy that. :)
@KindleVixen--You stalk me, I stalk you...it works. LOL
Save facebook I'm on most too; Myspace, Goodreads, various bookblog ning's, forum boards, my blog, twitter. Morning rounds take up to 2 hours if I have a lot to comment LOL
Goodreads is the best! Friendly atmosphere, totally welcoming. Sometimes the Amazon reader boards are downright hostile. It drives me nuts! (There are way too many whackjobs out there reading romance.)
Twitter, what is twitter? Who are you?
OMG... I am only in the blog world, goodreads, and some of the ning world. Wow... that is a lot of communication our there!!!
Well... honey if you ever need something... my blog or email will be the best place to reach me, lol!!!
But for now, I will continue to stalk you here though, lol!!! If that is okay with you, lol!!!
I am like you... Goodreads holds my books for me!
Have a great night!
Hon, thanks for grabbing my blog button, I so love my guy abs on it LOL... Still have to do button thing on my blog, but will soon!
Hugs
I'm stalking you on every social network with the exception of FB. Twitter keeps me busy so I don't see FB in my near future. But ya know I love you!
