From the masters of paranormal romance, three brand-new tales of seduction…
The Darkest Angel by Gena Showalter
A Lords of the Underworld tale
An iron-willed demon assassin, the angel Lysander has never known lust—until he meets Bianka. Spawned from the bloodline of Lucifer, the beautiful but deadly Harpy is determined to lead the pure-hearted Lysander into temptation….
Love Me to Death by Maggie Shayne
Twenty-two years ago four teenage boys were convicted of a young girl’s murder. Now, in the form of a beautiful woman, the “victim” is seeking vengeance. And only one man dares to dig into the past to uncover its secrets… and set her free.
Lady of the Nile by Susan Krinard
Lady Tameri believes herself to be the reincarnation of an ancient Egyptian princess, and Leo Erskine has set out to prove her wrong…never dreaming that the two of them are about to discover a prophecy that will bind them together forever.
The Darkest Angel by Gena Showalter
Lysander, is a very serious, down to business demon slaying angel. He has never experienced desire or lust and that’s just fine with him. Things like that are messy, and distracting according to the warrior angel. Until the day he discovered Bianka, his true temptation.
Bianka is a spunky little Harpy who is unknowingly driving Lysander crazy. Naughty by nature she’s lusty, likes to get drunk, and has a mischievous personality.
Lysander decides he cannot allow this gorgeous little Harpy to continue to tempt him. The solution? Kill her. Ok, so that’s a little harsh, so he decides that abducting her and teaching her to be a good girl is far more reasonable. Too bad Bianka doesn’t see it that way.
I thoroughly enjoyed this novella from beginning to end. Who knew angles could be such passionate sexy lovers? I loved the constant power play between Lysander and Bianka never knowing who would be “on top” next. Gena Showalter’s blends a witty sense of humor with steamy sensuality like only she can.
If you’ve never read the Lords Of The Underworld series, don’t worry, this novella works well as a stand alone read. It’s a perfect chance to sample a bit of the Lords Of The Underworld appeal. For you die hard LOTU fans, our Lord of Promiscuity, Paris makes a nice little cameo in this one. Nothing too risqué, but I will say there’s oil and loin cloths involved. *grin*

Sounds great to me. Harpy and an angel really can be fun together!

Oil, and loin cloths and promiscuity, oh my.

A Paris cameo? I'm in.
So looking forward to this release!
I'm freaking out because you got an LOTU ARC!!!! I'm like a kid at Christmas I don't want to wait, I want it now!
I'm in hearts with Paris, I love that he is so slutty. Gena mentioned that she was working on his book a few months ago, I nearly fainted from excitement.
If it's part of the A Lords of the Underworld, then I wanna read it!
KC, this is an anthology so I just got a little LOTU bit.
Could have used much more LOL.
Oh, I plan to get this book. Especially now that I know Paris has a cameo in it. I anxious to read Paris's book. Nice review, thanks!

Oh you Wicked Vixen you!!!! Paris is my weakness!!! LOL! Love the review and have this on my side bar to remind to me to get him, I mean it when it comes out!!!!
Great great review!
Hope you are having a great day!
I haven't read the LOTU series yet, but have The Darkest Whisper on my TBR! Maybe I better buy this anthology first…
Guess what I'm reading next??
Was curious about Bianka's story already but the mention of Paris pushes all other TBR books aside. Tonight THE DARKEST ANGEL is mine!
Oh and @Janna > if you are going to read THE DARKEST WHISPER, you at least have to read THE DARKEST KISS before that…for the series arc sake…(this is my obssessive reading-in-order compulsion talking, feel free to ignore it if you don't suffer from it LOL)
@Pearl: Thanks for the tip! After I purchased The Darkest Whisper I discovered it was the 4th book in the series *silly I know*
Since I like to read in order as well I was wondering if this was a standalone or not. So off to BooksonBoard to buy The Darkest Kiss than
You are such a tease! I have LOTU sitting on my make-shift shelf, just staring at me. I'll get to it soon. I've read the first chapter and it was good!
