Europe is torn apart by World War II and a feisty and beautiful heroine, Liz, answers the call to battle as a pilot in the Royal Air Force. Philip, her childhood friend and superior in the air force, is in a position of authority to stop her, but Liz is determined. Before she leaves on a dangerous reconnaissance mission, the two share a passionate night and Philip proposes, giving her his grandmother’s ring.
Liz’s plane goes down during her mission in enemy territory while Philip is sent to train with an elite team of paratroopers. The two discover other loves during their time apart, each thinking the other is lost forever.
Will these two star-crossed lovers find each other or will a war that has destroyed so much destroy the greatest love each has ever known?
It is Philip MacLeod’s dream to serve his country as a pilot in England’s Royal Air Force during World War II. He achieves his dream and with his outstanding leadership skills he is eventually put in command of the Women’s Squadron of the Royal Air Force. The last thing he ever expected was to find out that his childhood friend Liz has also joined the Royal Air Force as a pilot. Although Philip has had feelings for Liz for years he has never acted upon them.
Brave and eager to serve her country, Elizabeth (Liz) Williams decides to join the Royal Air Force, to serve as a pilot in the Women’s Squadron. Seeing Philip again after years of separation stirs long repressed romantic feelings toward him.
After reuniting Philip and Liz fall in love but their happiness short lived when Liz’s plane is shot down over France and she is missing in action. Philip believes she is alive and he vows to find her and bring her safely home. During their months of separation, both come to care for others but ultimately never give up on the love they shared.
Forever Yours is a touching romantic tale of two young people who discover true love in war torn Europe while heroically serving their country. Their story of love, loss and devotion tugs at the heart strings while engaging the reader in realities of war.
The one small problem I had with this book was in the editing. There were a few minor mistakes but enough that I found it distracting at times. Overall Forever Yours was an enjoyable read.

I'm the first one here, cool! I like Historicals but ever since I read Gone with the Wind I've steered away from epic historical romances. This one looks interesting.
P.S. I love that you are reviewing Historicals so I can read vicariously through you
I saw the info on this book a few weeks back and the blurb already interested me. I'm just a sucker for love during war
This one sounds sweet! Nice review
Thanks for the positive review of my debut historical novel.
