He meets his match. She meets her master.

Art gallery curator Joy Montgomery has never liked her body’s generous curves. And she’s always been too shy to explore her wild side. But tonight, everything is going to change . . .

Desperate to save her job, Joy approaches bad-boy artist Ash Hunter and asks him to exhibit his erotic work at her gallery. Ash agrees on one condition: Joy must pose as his model. But business soon turns to pleasure, as Joy experiences a passion beyond her wildest imaginings and Ash finds more than just inspiration in his voluptuous new muse.

Joy Montgomery is on thin ice with her job as an art gallery curator.  She must find a cutting edge artist to feature in her gallery soon or she may be looking for new employment.  Determined to save her job she seeks out erotic photography artist Ash Hunter to convince him to do a show, but finds that he is no longer interested in displaying his art.  Convinced that Ash and his cutting edge style will be just the thing that will save her job she sets out to convince him.  While Joy’s main focus is on saving her job, she can’t deny that she is intrigued and attracted to Ash. When she gets a look at a collection of Ash’s erotic sculptures, she finds herself both captivated and aroused.  Disappointed that Ash is not interested in displaying his art, she has a moment of impulsiveness and steals one of the small marble sculptures.  She immediately realizes she is out of her mind and tries to figure out how to return the sculpture without getting caught.

Ash and Joy are polar opposites.  Joy’s life is happily chaotic.  She’s messy, disorganized, and maybe just a little irresponsible.  She’s also a insecure with her curvy physique and unlucky the love department.   Ash on the hand is a neat freak, and totally organized.  He is and ex-Navy Seal and quite orderly in his lifestyle.  He likes to combine his two favorites hobbies, BDSM and photography with stunning results.  However his physical appearance is more what you’d expect from an artist.  He’s a jeans and t-shirt kind of guy, disheveled hair and he might forget to shave now and then when he’s engrossed in a project.

Ash and Joy meet at his apartment to discuss business the next night, but Ash has other things on his mind.  Although he’s already attracted to her, Joy’s response to his art inspires fantasies erotic bondage and he wastes no time in seducing her.  Business takes a backseat as Joy finds herself bound and she surrenders her control to Ash leading to an erotic night of love making.  For Joy, this is an impulsive act, true to her character, and for Ash, it’s deliberate and controlled, true to his dominate nature.  The two find an immediate connection as opposites attract and begin an interesting relationship that becomes complicated by Joy’s uncharacteristic moment of thievery.

The sexual chemistry between Ash and Joy burns up the pages.  These two find themselves participating in a sexual relationship that involves binding from the first time they are together.  Ash’s dominate nature appeals to Joy, making her feel safe and she allows herself to submit to Ash’s very sexy will.  Ash finds Joy’s willingness to surrender herself irresistible and sexy.

“The beauty of being restrained was giving up control, giving up self-consciousness, giving up everything.

Giving Ash everything.”

I found Joy’s quirky personality charming and Ash’s gentle dominance both sexy and alluring.  Lilli Feisty tells a romantic story a of slightly insecure woman who finds the courage to release her inhibitions and accept herself by learning to trust through powerful submission.

Dare To Surrender is an erotic love story that will keep you turning the pages. If you love a sexy read, with very light erotic BDSM, laced with love and romance you will enjoy Dare To Surrender.

Be sure to come back tomorrow for a fun interview with Lilli Feisty (they don’t call her Feisty for nothing!) and a giveaway.

@Pearl–I didn't go into it too much in the review but this book is really sexy! Ash is a hottie!

@Leontine–Joy is great! She's impulsive and the minute she took the sculpture she wanted to put it back. Just couldn't figure out how. Both Joy and Ash are great!!

  4. The Queen B January 26, 2010 at 8:03 am #

Ooh, nice review. This sounds hot. :)

  5. Fiction Vixen January 26, 2010 at 8:04 am #

@Queen B–Yes, this book is very hot! Feisty knows how to write erotica!

  6. Janna January 26, 2010 at 8:21 am #

Great review! I love a good romance with a little bit of light erotic BDSM. I added it to my TBB list :)

  7. Mandi January 26, 2010 at 8:23 am #

I want to give Ash everything.

GAWD I want this book!! Do you realize how much I want this book? I don't think you do. I need The Feisty! *bangs head on desk*

I have you to thank for my obsession btw! You made me read Bound to Please and now I can't get Mark out of my head. Soon Ash will join him!

  8. Smokinhotbooks January 26, 2010 at 8:24 am #

Was this one better than Bound to Please? Joy sounds like my kind of heroine! Please tell me that Ash has nipple piercings…

  9. Fiction Vixen January 26, 2010 at 8:29 am #

@Janna–Don't get me wrong, this book is not light on the erotic. Just light on the BDSM. Feisty writes it hot!

@Mandi–It's available today *g* And yes, you do need the Feisty! Ash is every bit as hot as Mark, maybe even a little hotter I can't decide. He really rocked me. hehe

@Smoking Hot–I think you'll like this one better because the BDSM is a little more tame. (No racks, or nip clamps) I'm just going to say it, the sex if HOT! Joy is great. I loved Ruby but I have to say I really liked Joy.

  10. Fiction Vixen January 26, 2010 at 8:34 am #

@SHB–forgot, no, Ash doesn't have nip piercings darn it! I forgive him though. He's got everything else going on! :) We should let Feisty know we like'em pierced and inked. :)

  12. Fiction Vixen January 26, 2010 at 9:44 am #

Patti–Yay! Another Feisty fan! You're going to LOVE Dare. *g*

  13. Lillian Feisty January 26, 2010 at 9:54 am #

Ladies. Ash is must too lost with this responsibilities and art to think about body modification! *G* But… maybe I'll have to do a little free-read epilogue on my blog one of these days in which Joy persuades him to go for it. Hmmm. That could be fun!!

Thanks for the review, Fiction Vixon!

Yes, this book is not quite as heavy on the BDSM aspect of sex in the sense that they actually really discuss the power exchange. But the power exchange is always there in sex, or at least it makes things hotter! For me, anyway!

  14. Fiction Vixen January 26, 2010 at 9:59 am #

@Feisty–Yeah I get the lost in responsibility and art thing but Joy is good for Ash. PLEASE let her persuade him? hehe *shivers*

I have it on good authority that Fiction Vixen said there was a steamy dark room scene. {makes clicky noises* hear that? That's me adding this book to my Goodreads shelf.

@SHM–I've made no secret for my weakness of "taking matters into ones own hands". Ash works it LMBO!

Wendy–Read it. Seriously, I never steer you wrong, right? Ok, you didn't dig Skin Game. You're a freak. lol. But I know you will love Bound To Please and Dare To Surrender.

Had to delete other comment due to ridiculous typos, I suck.

  20. Janna January 26, 2010 at 11:19 am #

"Don't get me wrong, this book is not light on the erotic."

    That's even better! ;)

  21. Wendy January 26, 2010 at 1:19 pm #

FV, okay, I didn't finish Skin Game, but I never said I wasn't enjoying it!! It's still in my TBR pile! I just.. got sidetracked. *sigh*

But hey! I JUST got Dare to Surrender in the mail! Bwhuahaha!

  22. Fiction Vixen January 26, 2010 at 1:30 pm #

Wendy–YAY!! Dare can be read without reading Bound first, but trust…you'll want to read Bound. Mark and Ruby are the star of the show in that one, Mark is a rock star and a dom *g*

  23. Wendy January 26, 2010 at 1:47 pm #

I think it was KC, she was talking about Bound a few months ago and right then I added it to my wishlist, will definitely be getting that one too! :D

Very intriguing interview ladies. I'd love to read about the bisexual pirates. Now that's an interesting plot as far as I'm concerned.

So glad I stopped by and much good luck to you, Lilli, on all your future writing endeavors.

    Best, Keta
