postheadericon Kindle Vixen’s Story: It Was Love At First Rub

Welcome to another installment of love stories for Fiction Vixen's Month Of Lurve.  Kindle Vixen is here today telling her romantic story.  Funny, I never thought of lizard petting as romantic but KV makes it work.  Take it away KV.

Once upon a time there was a girl named KindleVixen. All through high-school she was a good girl, getting good grades, even winning some math awards. (hey, no giggling!). She married her high school sweetheart when he joined the Air Force and they moved to California at the ripe age of 18. Unfortunately, their love story ends there, things did not work out. KVpleather

With new found freedom and an apartment of her own, KindleVixen reveled in the joys of pleather (not even real leather folks!) pants and bar nights in Santa Barbara. Tongues and belly buttons were pierced. Many fashion crimes were committed. Sexy men were taken advantage of.

Along comes Prince Charming with his long blond hair and sexy vibe. He invites KindleVixen over to his apartment to see his lizard (an Iguana for those of you with your mind in the gutter!). They hang out, listen to music, laugh together. When KindleVixen complains of being cold Prince Charming does the only thing a real man would do... warms his butt on the heater and rushes over to rub it upon her. It was love at first rub.

Soon after KindleVixen finds herself facing hard times, being single appears to be far more expensive than she expected. Prince Charming offers to help and share a two bedroom apartment with her. They can be roomies for now and see where things go. The dating couple moves in together, however all plans of staying in separate bedrooms seem to have been forgotten. How can a girl say no to Prince Charming?

Prince Charming introduces her to the wonders of good music, jam bands, PHISH, and concert tours. KindleVixen tosses away the pleather pants and finds herself in patchwork skirts and headscarves. A hippie is born!

6 months or so pass (maybe? who was really keeping track of time anyway?). KindleVixen being a brave girl decides to take things into her own hands, she was going to ask Prince Charming to marry her. A gold band is picked out, a plan forms in her head. However KindleVixen has never been patient and never been good with keeping secrets. One morning as the couple are lying in bed she pulls out the ring and asks him if he would marry her. Prince Charming laughs and says yes, even admits to planning on asking her the same question on New Years Eve.

Wedding4-20

The happy couple wed on a beautiful vineyard in California and are living happily ever after. Well as happily ever after as you can be with two daughters and 1200 square feet of living space.

The End.

You do know, I am forever going to bother KV about lizards and trouser snakes right? *snort*

LMAO WLP!!! Now why didn't I think of that? It's so obvious!! She left the door wide open. hehe

WLP - LMAO

Awww...KV - how cute. You have a great love story :)

and you should totally rock out the pleather again!

Fiction Vixen said...

Mandi-I think everyone should rock pleather pants at least once in their lifetime. Everyone except me of course...pleather sounds sweaty. FV does not like to sweat.

HAHA. Thats so cute!!! My sister's fiance is a PHISH fanatic, he follows them around when they are on tour.

You and Mr. KV are super cute! (sorry had to delete and retype, I always get you and FV mixed up)

Ohhhhhh!!!!!!! This is a sweet, funny, awesome story! Better than a romance novel, Kindle Vixen! Thanks for making my day.....

Despite the wild lies that FictionVxn spreads, lizard petting is extremely romantic and clinically proven to be good for stress relief... Er. Yeah.

Anyway, that was a great story! Prince Charming has the moves down, so a nod of respect to him.

lizard petting, good for stress. I will have to remember that! ;)

Penelope - thank you! :)

Monica - I lurrrrve Phish now. We went to see them in California over Halloween, it was awesome. He was originally going to propose to me at a Phish concert on NYE back in 1999 lol

FV - Pleather is sweaty. I can vouch for it. I couldn't find the pic with knee high boots....

Mandi -thank you :)

WLP - *shakes head* lizard and trouser snakes LOL I am so not talking to you ;)

KV you are too cute. You and I are pleather twins, I still rock my black pleather jacket, oh yeah.

FV I love these blogger romance stories!

A guy who warms their butt and rubs against you to keep you warm is def. a keeper! haha! Cute story! :)

super cute story KV. Loving these stories!

That was awesome! I too once rocked the pleather...but mine was electric blue and ultra shiny! LOL! I will refrain from making any inappropriate comments about lizards, the viewing of lizards, or the petting of said lizards. :)

Monica-If you want to confuse me with KV that's ok with me. She looks better in pleather than I do. :)

Penny-Yes, better than a romance novel. You can't be real life love stories when they involve pleather and lizards!

Keith-I think most men would claim lizard petting is extremely romantic and clinically proven to be good for stress relief. Mr. FV has mentioned it a time or two.

KC-I'm loving the stories too. My bloggy friends are rocking my blog this month.

LCzinha-You know, I agree, what better way to warm up than a nice toasty butt rub? KV is a lucky gal I tell you.

Sarah-Glad you're enjoying them. There are plenty more to come!

Danielle-Electric blue shiny pleather? omg. My heart. I didn't even know they made such loveliness. You were and are a fashionista.

Aww, that was such sweet, love story! Thanks for sharing it with us. You know, pleather is back "in". At least, I think it is, my sense of fashion isn't the best and can't always be trusted. ;)

Fiction Vixen said...

Donna you just made me snort! LOL

Kindle Vixen said...

I am so not squeezing my butt back into pleather again LMAO

Fiction Vixen said...

KV--Yes, funny how things like pleather pants become less comfortable after blogging for a few months. hmmm. Weird.

Book Chick City said...

Aw, that's such a lovely story..
