Bestselling authors Kimberly Raye and Samantha Hunter invite you to experience a little magic, a little mystery…and a lot of really hot sex!
Cupid's Bite by Kimberly Raye
When dark falls in Skull Creek, Texas, Lucy Rivers has the most incredible lover in her bed! Between the blindfolds and his bold lips, she's finding an ecstasy she only dreamed about. Her nighttime Cupid pierces her with his every erotic want…and then some! Too bad he's only there until the sun comes up….
I Wish He Might… by Samantha Hunter
Nina Larson has a personal genie…seductive, sexy Alec! Her every wish is his command…and does she ever have some X-rated wishes! Each desire he fulfills propels her into another, even hotter one. But Nina holds the key to Alec's freedom. Problem is, she's not sure she can surrender the most fantastic sex of her life!
Nina is a highly trained journalist who has worked with some of the most respected professionals in the industry. She is forced to take a job writing puff pieces for a tabloid after a scandal in which her confidential source was revealed and her reputation as a journalist is ruined. She has lost her job and possibly even her romantic relationship.
Nina is given an assignment to investigate claims that a Genie is making the rounds granting wishes for women in the area, essentially changing their lives. Stories of this mysterious Genie have been popping on blogs on the internet with women connecting and sharing their amazing stories. When a skeptical Nina begins her investigation, she finds a ring in an alley and has no idea she’s found the ring that Alec, the sexy genie she seeks, is bound to.
Alec is an old genie, living a life of servitude, granting wishes and moving on. However the first time he comes to Nina he finds himself deeply attracted to her. He knows it’s not a good idea to become involved as it would only end in heartbreak, still he cannot resist her and sets out to seduce her. Inevitably the attraction becomes mutual and the fun and games begin.
When a fellow genie goes missing Alec becomes concerned. There are hunters who seek out genies to use for there own evil purposes. Alec fears his friend may be in danger and shares his concern with Nina. When Alec goes missing Nina knows something bad has happened and must solve the mystery of what has happened and rescue the genie she may have come to love. She faces what seems like an impossible situation and must figure out a way to find her happily ever after with Alec.
Alec, somewhat sad and resigned to his life as a genie, experiences a new zest for life after Nina comes into his life. Nina, a no non-sense journalist who deals in facts, finds it difficult to believe she has found a magical genie that makes her feel sexy in a way she never has before.
I Wish He Might is a fun and romantic take on the age old tale of the genie in a bottle. Nina and Alec have lots of fun getting to know each other and heat up the pages in a hurry! At around 100 pages, this novella packs a lot of steam. While stories of magical genies have been around for years, I enjoyed reading this fresh take on a supernatural tale. This novella makes for a great afternoon read.

The genie twist sounds cute!
Mandi--the twist is fun but Alec the Genie is really fun. He can be whatever his mistress wants. Tall, dark, blonde, "thicker", male, female...anything goes with Alec. :)
Woo! Thanks for the sunny review. :)
Hey Mandi. ;)
FV, yes -- that is a facet of Genies that really makes them fun to write about. ;)
Sam
Now I need to know what happens with Nina and Alec!! I wonder if (and how) they end up together...?
I haven't read anything by Ms. Hunter yet but I can't wait to! I have Friction sitting on my shelf, waiting to be devoured. You know I love me a good steamy love scene!
Great review. Thanks FV! I'm adding this one to my wishlist :D
BV you should get to Friction right away. I liked that one. Cops/lovers. :)
This sounds adorable! Not to mention look at that cover!
Monroe--it was a fun story! Alec is my first sexy Genie.
BV, I love how Alec and Nina find their HEA... they work a little magic for each other, I guess you might say. :)
And I hope you like Friction (and glad FV did!).
Monroe, hope you check it out. :)

FV, I knew the minute Blaze asked me to do a bedtime story that I wanted to write a genie... and this was one of the easiest books I ever wrote. Absolutely loved it.
Sam
I'm here *opens arms wide* I love your Samantha Hunter reviews, I love the genie angle--I guess I just have a lot of love right now. Do you feel special?
Thanks for the heads up on this one - I was going to give this one a miss, because of the whole Genie thing - but your review did the trick...
I did like her Hotwires books - Super hot...
and I have Hard to Resist - by the bedside to get to...
P.S. - Let me know how the Raye book was - I read her entire Dead End Dating series and thought they were good fun as well
E.H>
Heck, smokin', you are just full of the love! Which is great, since I am blogging here on Wed about. . .love! :)
EH, so glad you reconsidered, and thank you for kind words on Hot Wires... that series still holds a special place in my heart. :)
Sam
SMB-I lurve your lurve! :)
EH-I enjoyed KR's contribution. I'm not sure if I'll do a review but I will say I liked it. :)
I've read a few of Ms. Hunter's Blazes and really enjoyed them, especially 'Pick Me Up' and 'Untouched'. And this genie story sounds like a fun read! Wonderful review, FV :)
