Happy Freakin’ Friday Ya’ll!! It’s been quite a week here at Casa De Vixen. My middle mini vixen started kindergarten on Tuesday and so the excitement level has been off the charts. I’m seriously glad it’s Friday, I’m beat! Who knew kindergarten could wear a momma out? I’ll be hitting the sofa this weekend for sure.
Just like this. This is how I will recharge on the sofa. Only I’ll be a little less fury but no less cute.
When I’m not inspecting my the inside of my eyelids, I’ll be reading Backstage Pass. I started it yesterday and whew! Break out the ice cubes!! This book is smoking HOT. And, it’s funny too. Thinking about it, I’m not sure if it’s meant to be funny or not but I have been laughing my ass of so far and I love this book. I can’t help it, lines like this crack me up:
Goddamn, the pheromones are thick in here. I’ve got a proximity hard-on.
I’m not done yet but I’m pretty sure this one is going on my ‘guilty pleasures’ shelf. Each band member will get his own book too. Squee!! Sexy rocks stars—woo and hoo!

I read Backstage Pass and I second the opinion that it is a smokin' hot read and funny as heck. It is one of the best books I have read this year.

I've been meaning to read Backstage Pass! I love when there's humor in steamy books! It makes me love it even more!
Like in one of Shayla Black's books (Ahh I can't remember the name — Bound to Surrender, I think?) there was a line where one girl goes "I dropped the name, learned how to give a good blow job and changed my life!" Considering the scene it was in, I couldn't help but put the book down and laugh out loud!
FV, Let me tell you you're going to want a towel and more than a bucket of ice cubes to cool you down after you get done reading Backstage Pass. It's just that steamy
