- 3 – 3 heart ratings
- 2 – DNF’s
Wicked Intentions (Maiden Lane, #1) by Elizabeth Hoyt 4 hearts
Wonderful book! Lord Caire is just so sexy. I was completely intrigued by him.
Notorious Pleasures (Maiden Lane, #2) by Elizabeth Hoyt 4 hearts
I loved this book as well. I thought Lady Hero and Lord Reading were so romantic. I’m sticking with this series.
River Marked (Mercedes Thompson, #6) by Patricia Briggs 4 hearts
Another great Mercy book. A little different from the rest but I really liked the romance.
Beyond Reckless by Ava March 4 hearts
Yowza! Ava March packed a sexy punch in this little short story. The tension was amazing. If you haven’t read Ava March and you like erotic, historical m/m grab this one for a nice sample of her work.
Moonlight Temptation (Lucani Lovers #4) by Stephanie Julian 3 hearts
I’ve enjoyed this series in the past but I had a few issue with this one. Review to come.
Saddled and Spurred (Blacktop Cowboys, #2) by Lorelei James 3.5 hearts
I love cowboy romance! This is the second book in the series and it didn’t have the emotional grip that most of her Lorelei James’ other books have. I enjoyed it but not as much as her others. Review to come.
Trust Me (The Lassiter Group, # 1) by Sydney Somers 3 hearts
Another author I’ve enjoyed in the past. I liked this one but it was middle of the road for me.
Tempting Mr. Parker by Delilah Hunt 3 hearts
I picked this book apart because the actions of the hero and heroine baffled me. However, I read through it with interest and enjoyed it. Weird that I didn’t like the h/h but wanted to stick with it. So I gave it three hearts.
Some Girls Bite (Chicagoland Vampires, #1) by Chloe Neill 4 hearts
About time I got to this series. I enjoyed this one, looking forward to continuing with the series.
Dreams of a Dark Warrior (Immortals After Dark, #11) by Kresley Cole 4.5 hearts
I don’t know how but Kresley Cole pulled it off. She made a horrible, horrible man lovable. Awesome book.
Unveiled by Courtney Milan 5 hearts
Wonderful story and lovely romance. If you haven’t read Courtney Milan you are really missing out. Get this one for sure!!
Reveal Me by Cari Quinn 4 hearts
I love Cari Quinn’s heroes, she writes them so sexy!
Addicted by Charlotte Featherstone DNF
I know a lot of people really liked this book but I had a hard time with the flowery, dramatic prose. Just not my thing and I couldn’t look past it so I had to quit.
Wanderlust (Sirantha Jax, #2) by Ann Aguirre 4 hearts
Another great addition to this series. I’m really enjoying it.
The Werewolf Upstairs (Strange Neighbors, #2) by Ashlyn Chase DNF
This was meant to be light and sexy but it was a little too silly for me.
Currently Reading:
Eternal Kiss of Darkness (Night Huntress World, #2) by Jeaniene Frost
I passed on reading this when it was released because I wasn’t really thrilled with First Drop of Crimson, the first book in this spin-off series. But after reading the latest Bones and Cat book, This Side Of The Grave I really enjoyed Mencheres and Kira so I’ve decided to give EKOD a shot. Liking it so far.
Sweet as Sin by Inez Kelley
This one is a bit darker than I expected. Nothing like what I’ve read from Inez Kelley in the past, it’s very good so far.
So that was my February reading fun. How did you do? What did you read that I must add to my TBR?

Fun month!! I’m reading Saddled and Spurred next I think.
And of course I have to pimp Pleasure Me
Seems like a pretty good reading month for you. I really like the Maiden Lane and Chicagoland Vampires series!
Oh, I’m glad you are giving EKoD a try. Mencheres is a bit overwhelming, but it was nice to get to know him better.
Thanks for another great month here a FV!
In EKOD there is a very sexy scene in an unlikely place (wink wink)
@Missie: He always kind of scared me. I’m liking him so far in EKOD though.
@KC: I’ve heard rumors. *waggles eyebrows*
Can’t wait to get my hands on River Marked and Saddled and Spurred!
I liked Notorious Pleasures but I think I should have read Wicked Intentions first – I couldn’t figure out WTF with the ghost and the sailor and the anonymous gifts.
I loved Addicted, I’m so sorry you didn’t like it
“Saddled and Spurred”. That title, knowing it’s for an erotic book, does all sorts of naughty things to my imagination. Hey, some may actually happen in that book! River Marked *sigh* and Sweet as Sin *sigh* Both wonderful.
Great month Sophia!
What a great month! I really need to get to it and read both Sirantha Jax and Chicagoland Vampires.
You’ve had quite a month Sophia! I’ve got Sweet as Sin by Inez Kelley on my radar as well and I just wanted to squeeeeeee; You’re reading ROCK HARD!!!! Looking forward to that release with a wanton heart
I’m getting Sweet as Sin based on your recommendation. I hope I can get to it soon
@The Book Vixen: The hero is so broken. So very broken. Have tissues ready.
I have to admit, this is not a book I would have gotten based on what I read in the blurb. But the fact that you emailed me about this one, and the affect it had on you, has me getting it.
Hey chica,
Just wanted to let you know that I found a review quote of yours inside of “Seduced by Destiny” by Kira Morgan. I believe the quote was from your review of Kira’s first novel.
I know that authors/publishers don’t usually mention it when they select your quotes so I wanted to make sure you knew
It’s a great feeling! Enjoy!
Happy Friday!

Sorry about the duplicate comments…my internet was bugging!
You can delete this one. I got the book titles mixed up and your quote appeared in Treasure Me
