So who’s up for some bookish fun? The Romantic Times Booklovers Convention will be held in Los Angeles this year, April 6-10. It’s open to readers, writers, industry professionals and anyone who loves the romance genre. Now don’t worry if you haven’t planned ahead, there’s still time to register and day passes are available. So if you live within driving distance of Los Angles, day passes are the way to go.
There is a lot planned for this year’s event. You can expect to find book signings, parties, awards ceremonies, panels for authors, readers and more, . Click here for a full convention schedule. If the panels, free books, swag and parties aren’t enough to convince you, check out the Mr. Romance gallery. That’s right, Mr. Romance people. ‘Nuff said.
This is also a great opportunity to rub elbows with some of your favorite romance authors. Some authors you can expect to see at the convention are: Ann Aguirre, Lauren Dane, Zoe Archer, Syrie James, Kate Nobel, Megan Hart, Courtney Milan and more, more more! I plan on attending. This will be my third year going. I went two years ago when it was in Orlando about 40 minutes from where I live. I just couldn’t miss the opportunity to miss all the authors and fans of romance. I was so glad I attended. Although I went by myself, I made lots of friends – who now I look forward to seeing each year because I wouldn’t dream of missing it. Two words (SAVE UP) It is the only vacation I take and worth every penny, LOL!
I wish you were going, but I will definitely keep you posted.
