Not long ago I cleaned up my Google Reader. Sadly there were many subscriptions to book blogs that had long been abandoned. As I was de-cluttering I realized that I hadn’t added any new book blogs in a long time.
I guess I just sort of get in a rut and forget to stray outside my normal blog reading routine. To be honest, I don’t get around the book blogosphere as much as I’d like to. So I thought I’d ask you what blogs I should be visiting.
I’ll start. Today I posted my fan letter to Lorelei James as part of the Author Fan Letter Blog Crawl organized by the lovely Kassa. Below is a list of participants. I work so hard on mine, I turn into a bad follower, and don’t always have time to leave comments when I go trawling my favorite sites; but rest assured, I follow your blog, Vixen. I also love, oh, so many. But here are a few of my favorites… Jessica Rabbit’s Corner, All I Want and More…,vvb32reads, Yzhabella’s Bookshelf and Lynette’s Two Cents, just to name a few. I hope you find you like them too.
I am a LONG way from my RSS feeds and book blog reading. I work online all day. At my peak, I was working for clients, then writing and posting reviews at various sites, and starting my own book and other blogs. I burned out. Badly. I’m just now getting back into the blogosphere with some seriousness, networking with others and trying to stay focused without allowing it to consume my life again.
This list is a terrific way to get back into the groove. I’ll be sure to add some of these to my blogrolls. I also need to bookmark some of the ones mentioned in the comments.
