It’s Random Friday time!!! Yay!!! I’m am so ready for the weekend.
We have a farmers market in our neighborhood that sells all sorts of yummy things grown locally as well as cool homemade goodies. I’m going to clean them out this Saturday! I’m in a mood! I’m also going to buy a grill basket so we can grill our veggies on the barbeque this summer. I AM SO IN THE MOOD FOR SUMMER!!

Jeaniene Frost Series News (VLAD!!!)
Jeaniene Frost announced the title of her new series featuring vamp crowd favorite Vlad. Here is what she had to say:
Vlad and Leila’s books will be part of the new Night Prince series.
Okay, why “Night Prince”? For one, the word “Night” will – hopefully – let readers know at a glance that these stories are set in the same world as my Night Huntress series and Night Huntress World novels. Second, contrary to the most popular fictional rendering of Vlad the Impaler, he was not a Count. He was essentially a Prince of Wallachia during his reign (Wallachia now being part of modern-day Romania). So there you have the Prince part of the series title.
Tentative release date for the first book in the Night Prince series is spring 2012. It may be pushed back to summer if (a) I don’t write it fast enough, or (b) what I write needs a lot of revisions. So cross your fingers for me that I will write well, and quickly, lol. I haven’t seen the cover yet for the first book, but as Tom Egner has done such a fabulous job with all my other covers, I’m sure he’s cooking up something very cool.

Big news from Carolyn Crane author of the awesome Disillusionist Trilogy!! She says that her Disillusionists my become a television show! Here is the announcement on her blog:
Like many Americans, I am a great fan of TV, and have many opinions and fierce attachments to various shows. So as you can imagine, I’m beyond thrilled that the Disillusionists has been optioned by the production company Fishbowl Media for possible development for TV!!
Here is the announcement from Publisher’s Marketplace:Carolyn Crane’s The Disillusionist Trilogy, about a psychological hit squad of misfits and neurotics who reform criminals by pumping them full of their negative energy, pitched as Heroes meets Inception, optioned to FishBowl Media, by Shari Smiley at CAA, on behalf of Cameron McClure at Donald Maass.
So here is the truly important question. Who will play Packard? 
I have been casting in my head ever since I read her announcement and I got nothing. Help me out here.

Llama llama is so darn cute! Love those books, too. Llama Llama Mad at Mama is my fav – it’s the one where llama doesn’t want to go shopping with his mom and throws a fit. Which, I’m sure, you’ve never experienced. The little FVs are too cute to throw fits, right?
