There’s no cover for it yet, but Ugly Duchess by Eloisa James, the fourth book in her Happily Ever Afters series, will be published sometime in 2012. It will be modeled after The Ugly Duckling, but I’m sure most of you guessed that by the title.

I just heard about this upcoming release recently. Sins of the Angels by Linda Poitevin will be released on September 27th and looks very interesting. I’m curious to find out how the hero has a “bullet-proof soul” like the Goodreads blurb says.
*****

Inferno’s Kiss by Monica Burns will be coming to a store near you on October 4th. I like the color tone of the cover, and I’ve heard good things about this series, but I’ve got to say it… I just can’t help it! That’s a mighty big sword you’ve got there, Mister.

It looks like the mass market version of Always a Temptress by Eileen Dreyer will be coming on September 27th, with the ebook release to follow on October 1st. What I’ve read of this author’s work reminded me a little of Sherry Thomas, so if you enjoy those tempestuous relationships I recommend you take a look at her work.

Oh my gosh, another big sword! They’re invading Fiction Vixen.
The Goblin King by Shona Husk will be released on October 1st. The thought of trying something new in the Paranormal Romance genre excites me. It’s not often I run across a book featuring a goblin, so this should be fun. The next two books, Kiss of the Goblin Prince and For the Love of a Goblin Warrior, will follow in 2012.

What’s up with the sudden surge of intriguing upcoming releases? Every time I turn around I find a new book that I must have because it sounds so interesting. The Shadow Reader by Sandy Williams is a great example of this. You can’t hear it, but my wallet is whimpering in my purse right now. This title will release on October 25th and I plan to be in line to get my hands on it. What can I say? I’m a sucker for books with the Fae in them.

Visions of Skyfire by Regan Hastings will be released on October 4th. I read the previous book, Visions of Magic, and really liked the world the author created.

The first book in the upcoming MetaWars series, Trance by Kelly Meding, comes out on October 25th and will be one that I definitely check out. The blurb on Goodreads referred to the group of people as “X-Men like” so I’m sold.

I’ve read THE SHADOW READER. Believe me, you won’t be disappointed!!
I’m glad to hear it was good!
Yes that guy on the cover of Inferno’s Kiss has a mighty big sword but The Goblin King’s sword is nothing to sneeze at. LOL
lol. Do you ever watch Supernatural? That Goblin King guy really reminds me of Dean.
Oh really? Does Dean have a super wicked sword too? Perhaps I will have to check him out. LOL
No, but he has a badass attitude. And you know me. That’s just as good in my eyes.
Oh yes, big sword, big attitude…it’s all good.
I love the cover for The Goblin King — absolutely love.
Popped collars definitely make a statement.
Oh now see, I didn’t notice the collar. I never got past the sword. *snerk*
lol!
Love the comments about the swords? hahahaha!
The guy on the cover of the Goblin King (Paul Marron) does ALOT of books covers! Just to name a few: Envy (new JR Warren Fallen Angels book & “Crave” as well), JR’s “Lover Avenged”, Laura Wright’s “Eternal Hunger”, Jacquelyn Frank’s “Seduce me in Dreams”, Karin Harlow’s “Enemy Lover” & Kresley Cole’s “Lothaire” cover (plus, Dark Desires After Dusk & Kiss of a Demon King)! He’s done like 100 covers-Craziness!
I appogize if you already know this! LOL!
Oh, wow, you’re right! I tend to remember cover color tone more than faces, but I’m pretty surprised I didn’t recognize him. I’ve seen the covers for most of those books and didn’t even notice the similarity. Thanks, for the fyi!
You’re welcome Catherine! Before I knew who he was, I didn’t realize how many books I’ve read with him on the cover. Sometimes it’s just his body, or the side of his face, or the back of his body…Plus, with some of the covers (the ones with at least some of his face showing), they make him look so different…I have some friends who are huge fans of his, so that’s how I found out
Looking forward to the new Monica Burns.
Very interested to see reviews for Sins of the Angels….
What did you think of the first two in the Monica Burns series? I’ve heard they were pretty awesome.
Butting in here but I really liked the first two in the Monica Burns series. Interesting world.
I’m glad to hear you liked them as well. I plan to get them when my TBR pile gets a little smaller.
Yeah because I plan to let that happen. NOT
Evil woman!
That goblin book is calling my name.
I hope it turns out to be a good one.
