New Covers!!

Biting Cold
Ahhh! It’s here! And I have to say, Biting Cold is looking fine. ;) I’m really curious to see what this one brings. Chloe Neill knocked me for a loop with the last book and I’m not sure where she’s going with the series.

*****

Tangle of Need
Nalini Singh has revealed the cover for Tangle of Need. I am not a fan of it at all, so I’m going to refrain from commenting. So…enjoy.

*****

The Darkest Seduction
This is a very big departure from the previous books in Gena Showalter’s Lords of the Underworld series. I like it, but I’m curious to know what brought about the change for The Darkest Seduction. Anyone know?

*****

Sacrificial Magic
Ooh, I’m liking the tattoo on the Sacrificial Magic cover. I think this is my favorite cover so far in Stacia Kane’s Downside Ghosts series. What do you guys think? Do you have a favorite?

*****

Doubletake

I really like the cover for Doubletake. It looks very intense when you look at the blown up version of it. Rob Thurman won the jackpot with this one!

*****

Fated
I am quite intrigued by Fated. I haven’t found a book summary yet, but the cover, combined with the Jim Butcher blurb, has me very interested. I think Benedict Jacka will be on my to buy list come February. ;)

About Catherine

Catherine is a long time reader of Romance. She gravitates toward Historical and Paranormal, but likes to branch out into completely different genres as well. She's a wife and mother of two, and prays her youngest will grow up and stop drooling on her books.

Comments

  1. The cover for Doubletake looks kind of freaky but in a good way.

  2. LethalLovely says:

O_o The Singh cover looks like James Caviezel & Goldmember got together & had a baby.

LethalLovely: Being a bitch so you don’t have to since 1990.

But I’m seriously loving the covers for “The Darkest Seduction”, “Sacrificial Magic” & “Biting Cold”. If the Chicagoland Vampires series wasn’t so damn pricey, I’d have started it ages ago if only because of the covers.

  3. Juliana says:

What is the Biting Cold one? Does she have another series? I love the cover.

I’ll tell you I was shocked by the Showalter one. What is a woman doing on there?! I’m heartbroken. Looks kind of like a Maxim cover.

    • Catherine says:

Looks kind of like a Maxim cover.

Yes! It does look like that. I imagine you’re heartbroken to see her cover style change. :P

Biting Cold is the 6th book in Neill’s Chicagoland series.

      • Juliana says:

Oh, okay, totally missed that. Wait, but book #5 hasn’t come out yet …? (RIGHT?!?!) But they’re already showing cover #6? That must mean she’s already written it … oh now I’m dying of curiosity. Two books that exist and we don’t know what they say about what’s-her-name and Ethan!

  4. Sophia (FV) says:

The Tangle of Need cover is not pretty. I just don’t see how that will sell books.

I like the Sacrificial Magic cover, but I’m disappointed that the cover(s) don’t look like how Chess is described.

    Nice covers.

LethalLovely: Being a bitch so you don’t have to since 1990.

    LOLOL

  6. Dannika Dark says:

This cover is VERY exciting to me! There’s a lot of information in there – the crossroads, the color..so different from Drink Deep. Cannot wait – one of my favorite series.

  7. eva says:

While I like the The Darkest Seduction cover as a cover. I don’t like it for the series since neither of the cover models resemble what the hero and heroine are supposed to look like from what we’ve been told in the previous books. Especially Paris. That is so not what he looks like in my mind based on the descriptions from the book. Plus, after the super hot cover for The Darkest Surrender this one is kind of a let down.

  8. Cynful says:

Thanks for the update. Chloe Neill’s cover reminds me of Jennifer Estep’s series for some reason.

Nalini SIngh’s cover looks similar to the ad to the right of the screen that says “Wilder Wants You” for Moira Rogers book. Same shading, turned head.
