Another book from Madeline Hunter will soon be in the offering. I haven’t been able to find much information on The Surrender of Miss Fairbourne but based on my track record with her writing I’ll be getting a copy when it comes out in March.

I have quite a few friends who are going to squeal with glee when She Tempts the Duke comes out in January. I haven’t read much Lorraine Heath, although I’ve heard great things about her Westerns. Have any of you read and enjoyed her?

Ah, Anne Gracie. She seems to be a pretty popular author. I’ve only ever read The Perfect Rake by her, but I have quite a few friends that gush about her. Are any of you Gracie fans? Any plans to snatch up Bride by Mistake when it releases in January?

A Lady Never Surrenders by Sabrina Jeffries is the fifth book in the Hellions of Halstead Hall series. You can look for this one in January.

I am very, very tempted by the book summary of How the Marquess Was Won. An icy, precise hero? *swoon* My not-so-secret weakness.
I guess if I want to read this latest entry from Julie Anne Long then I’m going to need to catch up on the Pennyroyal Green series. Especially so I can read book 5. I’ve heard fabulous things about it.

I’m curious to hear the response to Forever and a Day by Delilah Marvelle. Amnesia plots tend to either work very well or bomb. Are you guys fans of the amnesia trope? I can’t say it’s something I seek out, but it’s not something I out and out avoid, either.

Lovely covers! Great post. I’m a sucker for those dresses, I can’t get enough of them.
Me too. I especially like the one on How The Marquess Was Won. The orange looks pretty awesome.
Love Julie Anne Long! I had a major JAL binge earlier this year and bought everything she wrote, muy excited about her next release.
What should I start with?
Glad to hear it! I really need to get on it. Everyone seems to love her.
I’m not usually big on amnesia tropes, but I LOVE (lovelovelove) Shirlee Busbee’s LOVERS FOREVER. It was so ridiculous and crazysauce and cute, even with the WTFery bits.
<3,

I have a friend who reads certain books just experience those crazysauce (love the word) parts.
drool!!! Must read all of these, love HR’s!
Me too.
I like her red hair
The Lorraine Heath one?
I’ve got to say, this is one of my favorite features at FV-& it’s not just because my girl Catherine posts them. On to the cover lusting.
My favorite cover out of this batch is the Julie Anne Long one. My eyes go straight for the vivid orange of the gown & I forget all about the hero in the background. “Forever & a Day” is a close second. Very sexy. I am not however a fan of the amnesia trope, so I’ll have to restrain myself from giving into cover lust-at least until the reviews are out, anyway.
It’s one of my favorite too and Catherine deserves a hug pat on the back. She puts a lot of time into bring it all together for us. <3
*puffs up chest*
Glad you enjoy them, Lethal.
That’s my favorite out of the bunch, too. The orange is very eye catching and gorgeous.
I often lounge around the house in similar dresses. I prefer red though.
And I’m sure you look simply fahhh-bulous in them, dahling.
I love Anne Gracie, especially Perfect Waltz, Perfect Kiss and His Captive Bride so I’ll definitely be reading Bride by Mistake.
Love the dress on How the Maequess was Won and the cover for Forever and a Day is HOT!!!! Not sure about the amnesia trope though, I’ll have a think about this one.
The amnesia thing seems to be iffy for most people.
I will definitely be getting the Madeline Hunter book as well, but you have just reminded me that I am behind on her current series! She can’t be coming out with a new series yet! Panic!!!
Love the purple on the cover for Forever and a Day!
LOL. Where are you at in the series?
I think I am up to Sinful in Satin.
I really enjoyed that one.
