Happy Friday! I told you last week I was going to make Franken-Pops and I did it!

Here they are. Actually there were a lot more of them but these dudes made it into the pic. Unfortunately these were not my best work. These are the guys that I did after I was pretty much sick and tired of looking at them. I didn’t get a pic of the really good ones. Eventually they just started looking like pickles on a stick. Whatever, they were a hit at the party and I was a rockstar for a few minutes. Go me.

We also did some pumpkin carving and this is NOT what it looks like I swear. Her head is NOT in the pumpkin, she’s just checking out the front of the pumpkin and I just happened to snap a pic. I SWEAR. :)

My latest obsession timewaster interest is Pinterest. I can spend hours looking at lovely pictures. I just started pinning stuff but I’ve done a lot of browsing there.
What is Pinterest you ask? Well…
Pinterest is a Virtual Pinboard.
Pinterest lets you organize and share all the beautiful things you find on the web. People use pinboards to plan their weddings, decorate their homes, and organize their favorite recipes.
Best of all, you can browse pinboards created by other people. Browsing pinboards is a fun way to discover new things and get inspiration from people who share your interests. To get started, request an invite.
I’m here on Pinterest.

Ok, that’s it for me this week. Have a wonderful weekend!!
Love—FV

I totally agree about PInterest. It’s been my newest obsession for about 3 weeks now! Loved the pumpkin pic and great work on the cake pops. My girls have been begging to attempt some
I have to be careful on Pinterest. I can spend a lot of time there. It’s addictive.
I swear to god I came to giggle at Pickles on a Stick and then I saw pumpkin head. I LOVE IT! It must be framed! LOL
Yes I’m keeping that one. It was perfect timing lol
Pickles on a stick…LOLOLOL
I failed in my attempt. As in, I didn’t attempt.
Pickles on a stick would have been so much easier.
Damn Pinterest. One day I was happy just to be pinning away, the next thing I knew I spent 3 weeks repainting the inside of my entire house.*shakes fist*
It’s soooo hard not to get inspired there. I love the organizational boards. Zomgosh.
What??!!! No freaking llama this week??!!
Damn girl you are slacking on those llama posts. I am surprised you don’t have a folder on Pinterest just for llamas.
I requested an invite so we will see how long it takes. LOL
Sorry, no llama. I’ll try to be better
Have fun on Pinterest!
Not excited about the last Fifty cover. Loved the first two, but this one … meh. Excited about the book though! Christian, Christian, where art thou Christian?!
I haven’t read the series so not sure how well it applies to the story. Must give it a try soon though. People seen to love it or hate it.
No llamas?!?!
No, I didn’t get any llamas this week. The Silver Fox llama has already made an appearance at FV.
Woe!
Look at you go Mrs. Betty Crocker with your Frankinpops!! You put the rest of us to shame Sophia!
I’ve heard a lot about the Fifty Shades series. I really want to read it but I can’t pay $8 for an ebook. I just can’t. I’m waiting and hoping it’ll go on ‘sale’ one of these days.
I’m still trying to get the hang of Pinterest. (I am following you now.) Am I able to ‘pin’ stuff I see online? How?
You can add a bookmarklet to your shortcut bar and it will pin items to your board of choice.
I made the same pops based on the link you posted the other day…but my edible ink pin would not work on the for anything. Ended up using cake icing. Made pumpkin ones too. They were a hit! Thanks for posting that link!
My food writer markers didn’t work either so I used the candy melt and a sucker stick to draw the faces on LOL.
Those Franken-Pops look adorable. I need to be craftier. My poor kids are missing out.
