My kids had their last day of school today and are now officially starting their winter break. They won’t be going back to school until 2012. Wow, when I put it that way it sounds like a long time! Unfortunately, they are both coming down with something. And, of course so am I. I plan to whine and complain frequently.
According to BGR, Amazon confirmed recently that it will release a patch for its Kindle Fire Android tablet that will address a number of bugs and user complaints. So, soon we will be able to edit our history on the Fire. I’m hoping that means we can decide what shows up in the carousel on the home screen. I’m not sure what else they’ll be fixing or addressing. The update should be rolling out soon.

We had a little bit of cold weather here recently. I live in a pretty mild climate so when the temperature drops into the 40′s we freak out a little. Brrrr. My husband came home the other night all bundled up tight and I teased him mercilessly for being such a weather wimp.
I threatened to buy him heated mittens and ear warmers. He was not amused. But I think he deserved a little teasing after he sent me a video of Santa saying how proud he is of me for no longer farting in public. Also, Santa would like me to stop swearing so much. Thanks hubs!
I saw this over at Dear Author this week and I have to share. This is very cool. Go do it and then come back and confirm how cool it is.
Ok that’s pretty much it for me this week. I’m looking foward to some time off for the holidays. The blog will still be active and I’ll be checking in, but I’ll do it from the comfort of my couch.
