Eagerly Anticipating: Is It February Yet?

What happened? I blinked and half of January zoomed by! It’s almost February! I know it seems like I’m always surprised when another month rolls around, but lately it has been happening so fast. I’m starting to think that I have horrible time management skills because I never seem to be caught up. I need more time, people!!!  Well, enough of that whining.  ;)   I looked at my calendar and did a double take.  There are so many books coming out this month that I want.

*Scheduled for release February 7th*

Blood and Bullets by James R. Tuck – It has been way too long since I tried out another male POV UF written by a man.  And I’m in the mood for something dark and kick ass.  Look at that guy on the cover.  He does not look happy.  I bet he’s got a can of whoopass in his pocket, ready to explode.

Miss Hillary Schools a Scoundrel by Samantha Grace – I am intrigued by the thought of a rake getting a taste of his own medicine.  She’s the one who leaves and he’s the one who’s miffed?  One for me, please. :D

The Rogue Pirate’s Bride by Shana Galen – I haven’t read anything by this author yet, but I’ve heard great things about her book, Lord and Lady Spy.  It’s on my list to read, but in the meantime, this caught my eye.  Revenge?  Pirates?  You’ve convinced me. ;)

Unbroken by Rachel Caine – OMGOMGOMG!  It’s finally coming.  Yes!!!  The final book in the Outcast Season series is almost here.  I will be sorry to say goodbye to this series, but I just know this book is going to rock my world.  I’ve loved this whole series, and if anyone can bring badassery to a fight, it’ll be Cassiel.  This is going to be good!

Vengeance Born by Kylie Griffin – The blurb for this book has me hooked.  I need to read this book to see if it’s as good as I think it’s going to be.  I don’t know why it has me so intrigued when I know virtually nothing about the book, but it does.  I want.

*Scheduled for release February 28th*

A Rogue by Any Other Name by Sarah MacLean - This author won my heart with Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake.  Although I didn’t enjoy the following two books quite as much, I am not ready to give up on her.  I liked Nine Rules enough to continue to stalk her books, hoping to be wowed again.  Cross your fingers for me!

A Sliver of Shadow by Allison Pang – I just finished reading the first book in this series, A Brush of Darkness, and absolutely loved it.  I hope that I enjoy this one as much as I did that one.

Angels’ Flight by Nalini Singh – I am not much of a novella or anthology fan, but I’ve been hearing so much about Ashwini and Janvier that I can’t resist.  I’m going to have to get my hands on a copy of this book and check them out.

Black Howl by Christina Henry – I am excited, but nervous to read this book.  I had great luck with the first book, Black Wings, but hit a rough patch with the second book, Black Night.  I really hope that this book will hook me into the series again.

Blame It On Bath by Caroline Linden – I haven’t read this author yet, but I was intrigued by the book blurb.  A Marriage of Convenience plot proposed by the female half of the couple?  Color me intrigued.

By A Thread by Jennifer Estep – Yay!  Another Elemental Assassin book!  I really enjoyed the first five books, so I am very eager to dive into this one.  I can’t wait to see what Gin will do now that Mab isn’t a thorn in her side.

If You Know Her by Shiloh Walker – Finally the conclusion to this trilogy!  This has been my first experience with this author, but it won’t be my last.  I’ve really enjoyed reading her and I can’t wait to see how this storyline resolves.

The Darkest Seduction by Gena Showalter – I can’t say that I have been the biggest Paris fan–blasphemy, I know!–but I’m ready for his story.  Either Showalter will convince me to love him or I’ll just be relieved to finally be past his storyline.  We’ll see. :)

The Tattooed Duke by Maya Rodale – I haven’t read this author before, but the summary of this book seems fun.  Plus, I read that her style is similar to Suzanne Enoch and Laura Lee Guhrke.  Sold!

Trail of the Spellmans by Lisa Lutz – This is the long awaited 5th book in the Spellman series.  The last book came out in early 2010, so I imagine that most fans are chomping at the bit for this book.  I’ve only read the first book, The Spellman Files, so far, but I have plans to read the second book soon.  This is a hilarious series and I have no doubt that I’ll be ready to read this book in no time.
