Kane has been in love with his best friend’s girl ever since he first met her about three years ago. He’s an honorable guy and so he’s done his best to keep his distance from Delilah and still maintain his friendship with Craig, but it hasn’t been easy.
Craig and Delilah are about to be married. Everything is on track until Kane and Delilah wake up one morning in a fancy hotel room in Vegas with a load of money, wedding rings on their fingers, and no memory of how they ended up in bed together. All they know is it’s wrong but somehow it feels right. Kane sees this as fate and decides this is his chance to convince Delilah she was meant to be his wife and no matter how it happened, they should be together.
10 Ways To Steal Your Lover starts out with a smokin’ hot bang! Our hero and heroine have no idea how they ended up naked between the sheets but they seize the moment and decide to sort though details…and guilt later. Orgasms first, details later. *fans self* But once orgasm have been had, they begin to piece together the events that led them to their love nest in sin city.
This is definitely a feel good, fantasy love story. Waking up in Vegas, naked, with a super hot guy wondering what the heck happened last night. Oh yeah, with a boat load of money too! Talk about big fun! I kept humming Waking Up In Vegas by Katie Perry when I was reading.
Don’t be a baby
Remember what you told me
Shut up and put your money where your mouth is
That’s what you get for waking up in Vegas
Get up and shake the glitter off your clothes, now
That’s what you get for waking up in Vegas
I mean really, who hasn’t had to shake the glitter off their clothes at least one or twice in their life? Am I right?
It was fun watching as Kane and Delilah backtracked to discover the events that landed them in such a crazy situation. I laughed out loud several times and really liked the chemistry between them. But there were a few things that didn’t work for me, that kept getting in the way of me getting fully on board with this romance.
Craig is Kane’s best friend and Delilah’s fiance and therefore there is the really big issue of betrayal of relationships. Usually for me to be okay with this kind of betrayal, the jilted lover needs to be an asshole of epic proportions and begging to get dumped. Even then I might be a little shaky on betrayal like this. But Craig really doesn’t qualify for an asshole badge. He and Delilah are clearly not meant to be together but really, his only crime is asking the wrong girl to marry him. So as much as liked Kane and Delilah being together, there was the ugly betrayal cloud hanging over the romance that kept bothering me.
Along with my issues on the betrayal, I thought Kane and Delilah got off pretty easy in the way of explanations and forgiveness. Craig was super cool with the whole thing, having come to the conclusion that the wedding was a mistake and Kane and Delilah belonged together before any apologies and explanations were offered. He was totally jilted and seemed hurt but I think he let Kane and Delilah off way too easy. Although Delilah’s family grumbled accordingly, things with them were smoothed over rather quickly as well.
There is a nice little happily ever after with a fun epilogue that made me smile. I’m happy that Kane and Delilah found love with the right person, but my sympathies were certainly with Craig.

Even if it only lasts for this one day, I want to make love to my wife. I want to touch her and taste her and have her know it’s me inside her. Inside you.

This sounds really good, adding to my TBR
I hope you enjoy it!
Orgams first…of course!
Too bad it didn’t work out so well after the orgasms…:) Poor Craig!
The smexin’ is hot!! And even though the book opens with a sex scene it totally worked. Very steamy.
Great review, and I think I would have the same issues. I am sorry for Craig, but perhaps the next book is his story. I am not a fan of betrayal.
Yeah, I felt bad for him although he seemed ok with what happened. He needs love.
I think I would have a problem with the betrayal aspect of it. At least you were able to enjoy it for the most part.
It was fun for the most part. But I felt bad for the jilted lover and kept thinking about him.
