I fell in love with Maggie Shayne's vamps many years ago. She was the first writer I read who wrote vamp love stories. You really should check out the early books in the Wings in the Night series.

Hmm I think I've read Maggie Shayne before...I remember having similar thoughts. For me Linda Howard is my romantic suspense go to author.

Last night I finally was able to download this ebook that had similar issues with the romance rush. I felt screwed over and not in a good way O_o
