I have never read any Urban Fantasy but over the last week i have been hearing more and more about it and i am very intrigued. That is why i am so interested in reading Three Days to Dead.

Will have to agree about Kelley Armstrong and the The Otherworld Series..
must get my hands on Men of the Otherworld by Armstrong as well.. who wouldn't want to read about hot werewolves!
Also Mercy Thomson series is also great, although its been mentioned several times!

just finished 'better part of darkness' by kelly gay which was excellent, and since these two debut authors are always mentioned together now I'd really like to read 'three days to dead'!

other uf I've enjoyed includes meljean brook, ilona andrews, and devon monk. all have great writing and complex worlds

Not completely sure what would or would not count but if L.J. Smith counts then essentially anything by her because I have read them all. Or there is the 'Den of Shadows' Quartet which I am currently reading.

UF series ??! Ok..I love Urban fantasy books, but I don't buy UF series.Y?? Well I'll have to buy all of them..and I don't want to be bankrupt ! And where I stay, there are hardly UF's in the library :(

But, I have read a few which I loved..

The Everafter Amy Huntley
Evermore by Alyson Noel(not that good, but heard the next one in the series is good)
Karma girl(In my TBR)
And of course the Twilight
series..!

My favorite UF series would have to be the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton. It is like the perfect guide when you are just starting the genre. However, my favorite read of this year had to be The Better Part of Darkness by Kelly Gay that I have just recently reviewed. It was amazing and beautifully written, and very recommended.
