What you should know before requesting a review:
Fiction Vixen Book Reviews reviews books in the romance genre including:
- Paranormal
- Historical
- Contemporary
- Urban Fantasy
- GLBT
- Fantasy
We select books for review that appeal to us based on blurbs, excerpts and other information, however acceptance does not guarantee a review. We do not send out email notification when a review has been posted.
Sophia (FV) is the point of contact for review requests and all other blog business.
We currently have six reviewers at Fiction Vixen. All opinions expressed here are those of the reviewer and do not necessarily reflect the views and opinions of the other contributors to the blog.
Bound books and e-books are accepted. (e-books are preferred) We are a listed as a Review Organization Accepting NetGalley Titles, and we would be happy to consider books for review via NetGalley. If you are submitting an e-book yourself, you will be asked to send the file directly to the reviewer.
Fiction Vixen Book Reviews rates books on the following scale:
A : Loved it! Seriously, get this book NOW!
B : Good book, we recommend it.
C : Okay, but…we need to talk
D : Disappointing
F : Not my cuppa fiction, no way
DNF: Did Not Finish
