I just got this book myself and am quite looking forward to Ward earlier voice...

Obviously I can see the marketing minds at work here - making a fast buck on this book based on the popularity of the BDB books..

Thank God someone at Signet is actually on the ball.

I love the blurb if all else fail though...

I have read every single one of her Jessica Bird books – including the two published before this one. In fact you don't even want to know how much I paid to get a paperback copy of her very first. I have to say that this one was by far my least favorite out of all of them. It just seemed to be missing something for me. It left me feeling kind of blah. But ooh lordy did I love the last one – The Billionaire Next Door – and really wish she would finish that series.

This is such a good and honest review, good job Amy. I am huge JR Ward fan (BDB4EVAH!) but this book does not interest me at all. Give me vampires in leather any day of the week, thank you very much.
