I've been reading a lot of and a variety of romance genres for about two years now. Before that, I did read romantic suspense, as well as the mysteries and thrillers that were my mainstay. Thanks for another great contest.

These would actually be my first. I had assumed (like so many others) that is was meaningless fluff, but so many bloggers have convinced me that I might be wrong. I want to try some and see if I like it! So thank you for opening my eyes!

I started reading romance when I was 13 and that was *mumble, mumble* years ago. :)

My first love was all things Native American and Cassie Edwards was my 'go to' author. Then I moved on to knights and ladies and medieval romance – and now I am a paranormal romance junkie. :)

    Thanks for the opportunity.

I have been a romance fan since the 4th grade when I was secretly checking out Danielle Steele behind my mother's back.

I've been reading romance for about five years. I started off with romance in the form of YA books and about three years ago I also started to read adult romance books. I've always been a hopeless romantic so I will always love the genre.

I've been reading romance since I was a teenager, which was eons ago, LOL. I remember going to the library and checking out Georgette Heyer books and picking up Barbara Cartland books at the grocery store. I've never stopped, just added variations of the romance genre along the way.

i would love love love to win these! I have been reading romance for 2 years I think. As a teen I enjoyed mystery and the suspense in it. After having kids, i moved into romantic suspense. Now, I am full into romance. Love to read them with the happy endings and love the fight between the two as they battle to fight their feelings but always lose.

Aside from college, I have only been reading romances for about two years. I still read my fav scifi and mystery authors though as well as many YA books. Some of the scifi and mysteries have romance in them anyway.

I bought my first romance book at a yard sale ten years ago for 25 cents! Of course, my mama would be horrified because according to her, I should have been at it since birth as she has maintained a bloomin' romance library in her bedroom throughout my entire life. My favorite genre is regency historical (thanks Stephanie Laurens for that), which is odd since I write spicy contemporary, but there's just something about a duke trying to get under a ball gown. I have a tendency to read one genre then a completely different one the next. Regency, contemporary, erotic, and young adult are high on my to read list right now. Thanks for the fun post!

I've been reading romances for about a year-ish, now. I've been so ignorant to the genre; I use to NEVER read books, especially for pleasure. But then I began my reading journey and have just DEVOURED anything I could get my hands on! I can't give an estimate, but I've def read over 150+ in the past 10 months. (More than I've read in all my years combined)

I wrote about my journey to the romance genre on my blog if you'd like to take a look:
    http://notanotherromanceblog.blogspot.com/2010/04/first-romance-book-i-ever-read.html

But yea, I can't believe all the time I wasted watching TV and going to the same sites on the computer, when I could have been reading books! I hardly ever watch tv now, and the computer just sits on in case I get an email. I am truly obsessed!

Thanks for the giveaway hatchette & Fiction Vixen! 2 authors I've been dying to read + one I've never heard of, but would like to! <3 WOOT!

I just started reading romance this past year or so. I have always stuck to fantasy or YA books, but I decided to give it a shot, since I do like me a good romance. I have encountered hits and misses, but I am glad I chose to give this genre a go.

I have been reading romance for about 25 years. I use to be really bad about only reading one author until I was finished with all those and then move onto another author. A few years ago I got myself out of that and found that there are so many other authors that I like. My all time favorite is still Historical Romance.
